anyone experienced in five speed swaps or is a nissan tech in san diego, come get at me via pm or here!

what i have:
98 240sx

my trouble:
cel 1-11

what i tried to do to fix it:
1. did the usual hardwiring of the neutral/fifth gear guides on the forum
2. then i added a manual trans/starter/alternator harness but i kept the above hardwired
3. hardwired my park switch to the clutch pedal so that my car requires me to put my foot on the clutch pedal to start (for my own discretion and my family's because i'm not the only one that drives this car)
4. switched signal wires on the neutral switch
5. switched for a manual WM ECU and then i switch back and forth with a J6 ECU from the 97 model

symptoms:
i've been driving 10-15 miles while mixing it up on the freeway and on the street, my cel usually triggers on the street though.
before i switched the signal wires on the neutral switch, it literally only took 10 minutes to trigger my cel. now it takes a lot longer, like 15 miles max. signal problems? i used butt connectors, or maybe the switch on the transmission is faulty?

what i'm willing to do:
i should've posted this on the tech section but i posted it here because i'm willing to pay anyone to investigate my problems due to my lack of tools
