SR20 Oil Pickup - GASKET?

Does the SR20 have a Gasket between the lower pickup and the bottom of the oil pump?? Or are you supposed to use FIPG/Sealant?

I'm trying to determine if thats the cause of Rod Bearing #2 Loss??
After remving Oil pickup bolts it just fell off eaisly.No gasket or Sealant used - Air enter through causing low/no oil press??

s13 sr20 uses an o-ring and s14 sr uses a metal gasket.

So the engine has been apart before?? Sounds like someone forgot some parts
