Hello everyone,
I am having a few problems regarding my SR.
So me and my two buddies recently swapped in a SR into my s13. We got it running great with no problems. I go to school an hour and a half south of minneapolis where i had to drive it that night. On the drive down the car was running flawlessly until about 15 min outside of my destination. The motor began sputtering if i gave it any throttle. I had to pull over to the side of the road and start my car again. I got the car back to my house, i had to start it and go about 40 in 5th gear to keep if from dying. When i got home we started diagnosing the problems. When i tried to start it it wouldn't turn over, we had to use carb cleaner to finally start it up. Once it was started it wouldn't rev over 2,500RPM or so (I do not have a working TACH) .We went over the vacuum lines and what not, put a known working MAF, and ECU neither of them helped. I got new spark plugs in it and still no success. Anyone have any suggestions?
It would be nice to get it going soon so i dont have to hitch hike to school :(
Thanks.

It sounds like a basic vacuum leak, check all of your intercooler piping. You might have a leak where the stock bypass valve bolts up this is very common area to have a big gaping hole in the vacuum system.

Also how is your MAF wiring? also how is the condition of your actual MAF?

Also how is your wiring harness condition?

It sounds like a vacuum leak or something is loose

Thanks much, ill check my vacuum lines when i get home. My MAF was working fine, and my friends works on his car. The wiring harness is in very good condition, ill check the vacuums and get back to you.

The vacuum lines are all right, still when i start it, it goes right into limp mode
