Is it worth it ?

Hey , a newb here , new to buying a 240sx , Well anyways one of my buddies are selling a 1992 240sx fastback , 5 speed with 150k miles. It has minor rusting on the fender and side skirt. Paint chip on the bumper , and a a large amount of sun bake blotches on the hood. It runs good and the interior is perfect.
He is asking $1,200 for it. Do you guys think I am getting a good deal or not. I don't want to pass up this deal but I need some feedback.

for 1g, it would be a pretty good deal, but yea 1200 is still good, especially for a 92, see if u can get it for less, no hurt in that
