code 32 egr :[

my car has been running sluggish sometimes (hesitation, loss of power) so i pulled 2 codes out of my dohc ecu yesterday, 32 and 34
i went ahead and check my EGR. i pushed it up while idling and the car stalls so the egr is good. i check all the lines and they seem fine (last owner replaced most of the vacuum lines with some red silicone lines). okay here are my questions:
what else can i check?
could the knock sensor have anything to do with the egr code? (i dont think so)
should i go ahead and clean my egr?

oh and i took my car to the smog place i passed emission but they said something about me having to replace my vacuum lines...

Did u check for vacuum? Take off the EGR and blow through the valve through the little nipple, if you can blow through freely its not clogged if u cant or have trouble blowing through i recommend you change it out for a new one. If u have the tool to check for vacuum i suggest that way first. Check lines for leaks
