KA TIMMING QUESTION, NEVER WORKED ON KA BEFORE ONLY HONDAS, I FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTION BUT IM LIKE WTF! OK WHEN I INSTALL THE CHAIN FROM THE BIG PULLY TO THE CRANK EVERYTHING IS LINED UP. #1 PISTON TOP DEAD CENTER( THE ONE CLOSES TO THE CHAIN #1 CYLINDER. SO I ROTATE THE CRANK CLOCKWISE SEVERAL TIMES AND THE MARKINGS NEVER LINE UP AGAIN...I ROTATE ABOUT 6 TIMES. BUT I ROTAKE IT COUNTER CLOCK WISE AFTER I ROTATED IT CLOCKWISE SEVERAL TIMES BACK AGAIN AND THEN IT LINES UP. IS THIS NORMAL TO HAPPEN?

If your question is; when I crank the engine over one full revolution ( or a few full revolutions), will the chain and timing gear marks remain visibly matched to the initial assembly prior to rotating?
Answer
No. The marks will be matched only for the initially assembly and timing at TDC. The timing eventually will come around to the represent the "initial assembly timing with marks lined up" after many revolutions.
Just install everything as the FSM says and rotate the engine 1 full revolution to be sure the valves do not contact the piston.
pls take off the CAPS LOCK!
