I haven't made one of these threads in a llllllooooooonnnnnggggg friggin time.
So blah blah its a 90 or 91 or some shit. KA24DE, with DC headers, blitz exhaust..
anyway, when it rains, it feels like its running on 3 cylinders. So the distributor is getting wet right?
Ok, so I pop the hood and its dry. Nothing looks wet at all. How do I stop this from happening?
I'm ready to replace all that crap... plugs, plug wires, cap n rotor.

yeah cap'n rotor is what i would suspect. replace it. if cracked or no rubber ring is on the distributor, just silicon the cap to the distributor body. a little ghetto but damn worth it if the car isn't running on rainy days....

You don't have a cool air intake that is exposed to the elements, riiiiiiight?

Let the engine run on a dry day and take a spray bottle full of water and start spraying things down...wires, dist cap, etc.... And see if it affects the engines idle. Also as stated above "cold air intake" could be sucking water up and if so, thats the ingredients for a hydro-locked engine if it sucks up enough water...

No intake. Shits stock. I would have mentioned it. Water bottle trick is a good idea, thanks..
