Value of my motorset

I am considering selling my motorset (w trans) simply because it wont meet my needs. And I was wondering how much it is actually worth. I do know the mileage of the motor and all thats done to it.....anyway you be the judge....

Why does it have a nistune for 555cc when there are 380's in there and it better come with t28 since thats what the tune is for. Realistically no more then $3500

I have the 555 out right now cause I was gonna switch fuel rails and the T28 is there too. And of course it would come with the harness. i have no use for it. lol

And I forgot to mention I could include stock manifold and a 38mm Tial wastegate, and a megan's elbow with o2 sensor. So the purchaser could theoretically go top mount or stay bottom mount. The top mount set up is all new and hasnt even arrived yet in the mail.

Red top, around 1600, parts you put in not even much, unless your top mount is baller as hell, but a baller as hell manifold with a small t25 = fail. Anyone can say they changed the oil every 3k miles, and only if you can prove "great" compression when picking up motor. Plus, it better have EVERYTHING to drop in. If so, then i MIGHT give you 2300. my honest opinion.

Funny thing you mention proven. I can pull up the documentation for compression test, parts (and i know parts dont hold their value well) and I can have another one done by a shop to verify it. Secondly, i said T25 or T28. I have both but, the T28 is currently on the bottom mount set up. The top mount set up isn't in yet because it hasnt been delivered. So basically the purchaser would have a top mount and bottom mount set up. Also, this would be a drop in and go deal period.

That's the whole point of this. To be able to give someone a set up they can just install, do fluids, prime and go. No hassles no problems.

I just posted this to get a general idea of the value of it as a whole simply because it might be worth more in pieces than as a whole. And I have nothing but time to sit on parts until I feel that a fair price has been met. I've seen what built motorsets go for, and what questionable stock motor sets go for. And 2300 sounds more realistic to me especially since i didn't even consider it that high.

The top mount is for a T3 flanged turbo. I was going to go with a 3071R.The bottom mount set-up is for the T28. Who the hell top mounts a T28, ESPECIALLY IF IT HAS A T2 FLANGE!

2. I have stock injectors as well as the nismo 555cc
3. ACT stage II clutch with less than 500miles on it is not eh

Alright let me settle this shit. The tune is from a well known tuner in my area that provides MAJORITY of the code for alot of the shops around here. And he is respected by Steve Shadows. And no it's not some poor boy special.

Clutch is down to personal choice. It holds the power well and I'm not drifting the fucking thing so its fine. And the HKS flywheel is actually in there seeing as how I purchased and held in my hands and helped with the install.

And if you read further down in the posting it says "I have the 555cc injectors because I was going to change out the fuel rail. Also, when I purchased the car I had the wiring sorted through simply because I KNEW alot of these jobs are hack jobs because people will do whatever it takes to get em to run.

So keep your presumptuous thoughts to yourself. Not everyone here goes half assed on their set-ups or does ebay specials. I know its the net and it doesn't garner respecting someone's shit but dont be surprised when someone shits on you and your questions or setups.

I would say in this enviroment i.e. current economic conditions. i.e. no consumer confidence.
This(above)is probably the high number maybe 2k. Though last redtop motorset I sold had a variety of good bolt ons and went for $1600 and that was almost a year ago.

In other words this market sucks for the seller especially for people selling SR's. It has not gotten better in the last year it has gotten worse.

in all seriousness thought, for the swap you could prob get it for 3800, or more..if you find the right buyer. But thats really what its all about, finding a buyer willing to work with your price.

In perspective, I spent 2800 alone for my engine set from heavy throttle about 4-5 years ago. Since I payed in cash and in full, i was given first pic of engines, and since I lived about an hour away, got to pick out my engine in person and bring it home myself, so I know I got the best one he had..and Jeff was picky as hell with all his engines, only bringing in small shipments of 10-15 a month. The engine had the factory installed spark plugs still in it, very clean when I took them out...and also had the original factory clutch, you can still see the white inked nissan logo on the organic part of the clutch. Thing had less than 10k miles on it, it was a real gem.

and yours?...what info can you give on the engine, the more you can give about it, the more it can be worth. Cars are the same way.. older cars with the full linage documented and known is worth more than those without.

I have a s15 engine and I would not settle for anything else you can get s15 for cheap these days. When I got mine 5 years ago it had 17600 miles
