Problem or common?

Hey everyone I could use a little help... I was washing my car a noticed that the molding that would run along the door window and the rear quarter window where starting to separate from the body on both sides. At first I thought the car might be tweaked but there is no buckeling or rippling in the roof. What are your thoughts?

It's just a channel to let rain/water flow so it doesn't come down the window. Completely normal.

Both of my S14's have the same thing going on but yours looks like it has warped just a little. I would watch it but not be overly concerned with it.

Yes your gap is big I have that but no where near as wide as that.

Would new moldings fix this? Or what about Origins sun visors? Would that cover it? I just don't want anything to get down in that area and cause rust?
