Would a full body kit for a S14 silvia fit without modifications on a 1997-1998 240sx?

yes fits

Acually the answer is no. :o

Some of the kits simply will not fit if you do not modify or take out the bumper support and same with the rear bumper. I remember you have to drill new holes if I can recall.

It also depends on what year S14 you have.

I had to drill new holes for the rear bumper and had to modify that metal bumper thing (dont know the name) in the front of the car to make it look right.

I think it's the reinforcement bar. Yes that's what it's called.

actually its called a bumper. body kits come with new bumper covers. front and rear. the reinforcemen would be the styrofoam like piece. and the front bumper cover probably wont fit between kouki and zenki

No its called the bumper reinforcement. The styrofoam piece is called the absorber. xNotoriousGQx had to modify the bumper reinforcement because his bumper is from Japan and they do not use extra reinforcements on their cars like the USDM versions.

Does not really matter now, as one week after I got the conversion, the front emblem and my Rear Silvia Emblem got stolen.

I've just put on some summer tires and a new front.

I hope to get another Silvia S15 Lightning soon, and I'll posts some pictures up.

hmm, that website says it's only 900.00 for a S15 front end conversion. Isn't it more than that? Or is that what it really costs.

No lightning now..

Conversion with paintjob should cost around $3k.

I got a S15 front clip with fenders and headlights, but changed the front bumper and put on new xenon headlights now.

Also sold the SR20DET ...

I'm not saying you're lying or anything, but....i've seen your car before with the stock front end and other kit and remember you saying that you had an sr20det, but it sucked so you put in a turbo KA, but I have NEVER seen any pics. Would oyu really go through all that hastle of pulling the KA, dropping in an SR, getting sick of the SR, and then dropping in the KA and turbocharing that? Again, I am not saying you're lying, I just want to see pics. One more thing, are those neon lights in your front bumper? ahem.

Unhappy. that is a silvia emblem, but, yes, it is crooked. If I payed $40 for an emblem, it would be straight.

Emblem is stolen.

Body kit on S14 is an old Nismo kit from Takakaira.com
Don't think they sell it anymore..

I think there is a picture with unpainted front with my intercooler shown...

Currently not runnign turbo as turbo in car got killed though I managed to salvage some parts like BOV, downpipe, etc..

heres the pic he speaks of. i didnt know they made nismo intercoolers. but nice looking car b4 and after wreck.http://images.cardomain.com/member_img_a/231000-231999/231804_15_full.jpg

I've got side mounted intercoolers before, it hides your turbo until the BOV betrays you...

Someday I'll Turbo my KA again when I get my turbo manifold, intercooler, etc..

What I have now is just gauges, boost controller, HKS BOV. And memories.

When I get my stuff again, maybe some of you in Massachusetts can show me how to make the engine bay look neat enough to be presentable...

Paid $24 for the lightning emblem and $27 for the Silvia rear emblem in Japan when I was there last year visiting a friend.

Damn emblems are $$$$$ in the US. Why do ppl pay $50 on ebay for them??
