SR20 not holding boost?

I have a blacktop SR with a stock T25 on it and have had no problems up until today.

I was driving home and went to go into boost and my car got to full boost and then just like dropped all pressure and made a kind of lame squeal noise (have a blitz bov), thinking it was just a fluke thing I shifted into third and went into boost again this time just fine so I was like eh no big, but then it did it again, mid boost just drops all pressure.

You can hear a slight ticking/vibration from the engine.

Not really that mechanically sound so coming here to ask for help.

Tried to drive it up the block to schucks, cant get the car past 2k RPM without hearing a loud click and then the car starts to buck, got home lifted the hood, revved the engine up to boost and it doesn't really dump there is just a really loud click

sounds sorta like an exhaust leak or boost leak.

you have to clarify what you mean by the click though...

I'll try to get a video but I don't live at home so I don't have my camera or anything.

Click sounds like something snapping shut

EDIT: Forgot to say this, it's just a singular click, not a repeated one.

EDIT 2: Friend suggested wastegate could have become unplugged so its not opening and just snapping shut, checked all vacuum lines, plugged in fine to wastegate, throttle body, and BOV.
