My Turbo (GT2860RS) seems to only wanna hit 10psi and I keep turning the knob (very Nice/NEW Hallman MBC) more and more and no Boost diff.

Thinking maybe my Actuator is bad, I bought a better HKS one and now I'm wondering...when I get it & install it, do I measure and set it to the Boost level I want, or something else (like 12psi) and let the Boost controller Do its Job to get to 15psi?

I heard people say that an HKS adjustable actuator ONLY (No EBC or MBC) will not Boost/spool up as fast or some shit? Not sure why it wouldn't.

DO I just need to get rid of any boost controller than?

The problem is probably the actuator being loose. Tighten it some more. Whats going on is that the pressure from the turbine is overcoming the actuator. Tighten it so itll keep the flapper shut longer.

Thats what it would seem.
Bought a New actuator and its for a T28, but not an "RS" Style turbo.Dosen't have the Bent arm Like I need.So I'm selling a BRAND new HKS Wastegate Actuator. $95 shipped

Maybe I'll try what you mean.
The Stock Garrett Actuator (or whatever it is) Is Adjustable and looks Somewhat NEW.Thats whats weird about this turbo.

Gonna try that
