Ok guys I know there is a guy on here with the GSX eclipse. I just bought a 99' GST yesterday. I already have the injen intake on.
WHen your at the track w/ a turbo car is best to have a stright pipe from a turbo because they don't need back pressure at all.
I'm going to track on Saturday and i just want to run my down pipe ( I'm getting a 3" on Friday) SHould i take off my whole exhaust or just take out the cat , so the down pipe and exhaust is not connected? I really don't feel like take my whole exhaust off when i get there but i know it will give me a bunch of HP. So would it be just the same to remove my cat and leave my exhaust just hanging there??

ps... here is a dyno with a test pipe instead of a cat..

Just use a Staight Pipe. No need to take the exhaust off.
