so on my setup i have 264/264 cams, it was very laggy and when i went from map sensor to maf sensor it was very shitty idle and stalled out alot on deceleration. i DIDNT dial in the cams with adjustable cam gears. as i just recently learned you are supposed to.i'm on the fence on either A. going back to stock sr cams OR B. going to a stock intake side (256 according to the bc site) and keep the brian crower (264) on the exhaust side. so here is my question...if i run the staggered cam setup, will i still need adjusable cam gear for the cams? will i be able to get them under control using an safcII? im basically looking for the easiest route so i would assume just going back to stock, however if the staggered cam setup is equal amount of work but slightly worth it i'll go that route...

my motor setup is as follows
-sohc mafs
-safcII
-gt28rs
-stock injectors
-bc valves,retainers,springs,etc.
-greddy metal headgasket
thanks for the input!

From what I've been reading, BC cams are a pain in the ass to get dialed in and thats from folks who have cam gears. I dont think these cams are exactly drop ins. You want drop in cams, get some HKS step 1s.

well i'm at the point where i'm about to go back to oem cams i was just curious about what the oem intake cam is on an sr20det and if i would have to use adjustable cam gears if i ran an oem intake cam and 264 exhaust cam
