i am in need of a clutch badly, looking at getting the act street clutch. i want to make sure that i get one that will hold up when i get a turbo. max 10psi
any suggestions?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>?
Stay away from Clutchmasters.
Alot of people use the ACT Street Disc but I dont think it could handle hard abuse with a high HP turbo 240.
I just got a Centerforce Dual Friction. I am still burnin it in so I will let you know how it is. Should be pretty good though.
West, what was the problem you had with the clutchmasters? I have the stage 5 but only about 210-215 to the wheels, is it a problem now or only if I raise boost in the future?

My centerforce, gave out in about 12000 miles, pressure plate was bad I guess, pedal wouldnt come back up and I had some slipping, replaced the slave and master cylinder first, waste of money, then bought the act street, awesome so far, holds more power than it was intended for for me.
Well im not sure it lasted 1k miles after the 500 mile brake in. I had a stage III though. Why do you have a stage V clutch with that much power? Its gotta be a bitch driving around town ey?
What clutch do you have now PSI?
I don't wanna find out. I haven't even had a chance to break it in because I have been taking the bus at school. But I know it's going to be a nasty ride in traffic. But the reason I got it was because I hoped to boost more in the near future, probably like 11 psi. It was recommended by a friend that has one in his prelude and loves it.
