Hey, I just got me some tein adjustable T/C rods yesterday and Im going to put them in sometime this week. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on putting them in?? The instructions are in japanese so I have no idea what they say so is it possible to just be able to put them in using my eye with no instructions?

I figure take off the old one and I can figure it out. All I know right now is to make sure they are the same size as the stockies.

Any tips with the pillow balls? Anything you know that would help out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Only 3 bolts per side.

When you install the new rods, torque all the bolts to 65-80 ft-lb (88-108 N-m).

I haven't installed a set of these myself, but I'm planning on it soon. Well, mine are Battle Version, but it's all pretty much the same stuff.

Oh yeah those torque specs are important, I forgot about them. I have one of them Chilton manuals but I cant find this install in it. Well thanks for those specs.

I just reinstalled my tension rods with some new polyurethane bushings and I pretty much eyeballed it. Three screws per rod to take off and put on. The only thing I did that was probably out of the obvious was that I jacked up the lower control arm in order to put the tension rod back on. After that, I really saw why it was that the poly bushings were causing cracks in the lower control arm for other 240 owners.

Well I just put them in, took about an hour and a half which was spent waiting for the liquid wrench to kick in, then trying to get the bolt loose where the bushing was (tip:Push the wrench with your foot. Thats what I did:D) and then about a half hour eyeballing the new T/C rods to the same length as the stock ones. Let me just say what a PITA. Once all that was done and the bolts are loose then about a 20 minute ordeal.

I was going to do a writeup but forgot to take pictures of during the install, just have before and after pics. Ill upload them later.

I didnt really notice a difference but havnt really driven her too much or hard around the bends since I put them on so... I noticed a little but I am also going to wait a couple hundred miles or so to make sure all the bolts are staying tight and get an alignment(which doesnt seem too bad).

Overall I give em a 8 outta 10. Good choice but I am sure they are all the same except for the thickness. These seem to be about the same thickness as the stock ones so...

Well thats my review. More to come maybe

Also check out the rust on my ST sways Just put them on in November. Hmmm I guess all the snow out here in Jersey this past winter must have got to it.
