My friend got some wheels from a friend of his fathers. They were allegedly from a 240SX and were said to have drag slicks.

I went to his house the other weekend to check em out and have some fun. It turns out they were what appeared to be road racing slicks mounted on 14" NX3000 wheels(I think). When we tried to mount them on the car the bolt pattern was too small.

So here are my questions:

1) does anyone know what the bolt pattern of the NX was? I assume 4X100

2)What would this wheel/tire combo be worth? and what would be a good place to sell them? He wants to sell them for some wheels and tires that fit his car.

Here are the pics( add .orig.jpg for freakin huge pics):

Mods, I'm not entirely sure where this goes, its sort of off topic, but pertains to a 240, and is also technical in nature.

Thanks for any help

NX2000s were B13s, so their bolt pattern is 4x100.

You could probably sell those for some good money to a serious SE-R racer. Try any SE-R/Sentra/SR20DE forum.

nightkids, I am well aware that they do not fit, that was stated in my orginal post, I am trying to determine a market value for these.

AKADriver Do you have any idea how much "good money" would be, I havent seen things like this for sale very often on the 240 boards.

Arent most hondas 4X100? does anyone know of any serious honda fourms where someone would be in need of racing slicks?

The center bore might be wrong for a Honda.. are they lugcentric or hubcentric wheels? Either way, if you did sell them on a Honda board I'd suggest Honda-tech.

i can tell from looking at them that they wont fit on a honda. Well a spacer would make them lug-centric and work i guess.

Um....is it just me or are they "homemade slicks?" Look at the shoulder of the tire. You can see where there used to be blocks of tread. Also, on the second pic down look at the bottom right tire at the bottom of it. It looks blown out. I guess you could still sell the rims but the tires don't look like real slicks.....

EDIT: Actually I can't tell if that's a worn part of if it's just grass....:p

hahahahahahahaha Homemade slicks :p

They are Yokohama A008R DOT legal racing slicks. PDM racing used them on their 240SX back in the day http://www.pdm-racing.com/features/240sx.html

Do a google search for Yokohama A008R if you don't believe me.

Thanks guys for the useful info, I posted it on http://www.sr20deforum.com and I will see what responses I get there.

Edit: yeah, thats some spider webish stuff on the tire, its not blown out.

Ok! Just looked like it to me. I guess I could have just looked up the tire, right?:p
