I bought my 240 with copied keys, and I was wondering if there's a way to find an original, or if I'd have to get all the locks/rollers changed to get a new key. If so, it's not worth the trouble. I've heard that if I go to the dealer, I can give them the VIN number and they can make me an original key for it. Is that true?

Could'nt you have a blank ordered from the dealer then have them or someone else cut it for you, give your local dealership a call and see if they still sell the 240sx key's.

The thing is... the keys I have are worn down, u know? They don't work as well as they used to.

Call your local Nissan Parts and ask them if they can make one for you. Or open your glove box, the key number should be on a sticker glued inside. What else... go to your Nissan dealership (parts dept) and tell them you need them to copy and sharpen your key a bit. It will work, trust me.
