can you replace oil seals on a bb turbo?

simple question that I can't seem to find a definitive answer for. I'm aware that you can't rebuild a ball bearing turbo but can you just replace the seals? and by doing so will that get rid of the shaft play?

no.

you could try and source directly from the turbo manufacturer but extremely unlikely. if you have play in a BB turbo, it's not the seals, it's the bearings.
