Hey guys, what part of the driveshaft am I disconnecting?
There are 3 spots. One right at the differential, one in the middle, one at the tranny.
In an online guide, it says at the differential, but in the manual it says do not touch, and says remove the bolts in the middle (where its being held up)
Which one?

After becoming frustrated and searching the net, I came across

However, those 4 bolts are horrific to get at. I can't get a socket wrench in there, and a vise-grip just strips the bolt. Is there any easier way to get at these?
They are a bit rusty, but not even liquid wrench is working.

you will want to unbolt the driveshaft where it bolts to the pumpkin. Yes, those bolts suck. they put lock tite on them from the factory and then they have years of use gluing them on. I used a gigantic (like 3 foot) screw driver, and shoved it through the driveshaft so it wouldn't spin (it hits the floor board and won't spin anymore). Without this they are almost impossible to remove. from there I used a box end wrench and a breaker bar and all my upper body strength to break the bolts loose. From there on its easy, you just unbolt it from the diff, and unbolt that little transmission crossmember halfway up the car towards the tranny, and the whole thing slides out of the back of the tranny, which will then spew fluid out of the hole in the back.
WEE!
