Good day fellow Nissan enthusiasts, i have a 1998 Nissan Primera TE-V Model with the SR20VVL along with the CVT M6 Transmission. Recently I did a manual conversion with a 5 speed LSD gearbox using a Fidanza Clutch setup. My issue is since i did the conversion, the temperature guage on the instrument panel goes up to the 3/4 marker before the cooling fans engage. When the CVT Transmission was in, that temperature gauge never passed the half way marker. The temperature sensor was changed but same problem. We did a full diagnostic and it showed no faults in the electrical system, it also showed the temperature reading 100 degrees Centigrade when the cooling fans engaged. The fans will run until the temperature decreases to 93 degrees then cut off. Is this the correct operating temperature range for the said engine.
