I have this wierd exhaust sound when I rev up or change gears and my RPM's drop around 1900. It is only like this when it revs down. I thought I had a leak in my exhaust, but I looked all around and found nothing. Anyone have any ideas what it is?

Its hard to tell, it sounds like a little of rattling and a hole. Its hard to explain, it just sounds like crap whenever I rev up. I can't figure it out cause it only happens at that RPM.

hmmm...not sure then, but my car at high rpm's i hear a rattling from the outside it think something is just loose maybe my cat or muffler.
Is there any way you can get under there and take a look at it?
And can you tell which part it is coming from back or middle of car?
Sorry bout the questions just trying to help

I tried, I leaned my head under my car and got a long poll and pushed the accelerator. I still couldn't tell where its coming from. I think it might be around my cat.

Heh, if it matters you're not the only one with this problem. You've just described pretty much what I noticed yesterday while driving through a parking garage. I've heard an exhaust system with a leak and the sound is very similar; however, the system always had the sound not when the motor was winding down.
I did a visual inspection (without removing heat shields) and havent found a crack/hole yet. I plan on getting it on a lift next weekend and giving it a more thorough go-over. Keep me posted if you isolate the problem and I'll do the same for you,

Thanks for the help. I'll try to jack up my car sometime this week and see if I find a crack anywhere.
