Just got an Sr20det motor and trans,and want to hook up a Autometer electric speedo to the trans.Which wire is for signal.Thanks!

The VSS is a two wire sensor, +12V on one side and a sensor on the other, I believe the Yellow/Green stripe is the +12V. So the autometer would go to the other wire. Or you could cut both wires and wire +12 to one side and the gauge to the other. It doesn't matter which side it goes on if you decide to rewire it yourself.
