Horrific car short problem and its annoying me!

Okay, this one is a weird one but wonder if anyone one has had a problem like this.

Okay, got an S13 a couple of months ago and of course it was running fine. One day I was driving (about 3 months ago, thats how old this problem really is!!!) and my stereo just stopped working along with my clock, interior room light and the electronic seatbelt. One of my warning lights blinks off and on (the door is ajar light). I've looked at the fuse box and everything and nothing so far. The funny thing is, that when I keep my room lamp in the DOOR position (center) my clock turns on. When I move it around, the clock goes blank. Also, the clock restarts itself everytime I turn the car off and on, and the electric seatbelts get stuck in their positions, they stop moving. I don't know what this is but it's been driving me insane for months. I'm now fed up butI'm not really in the mood to take it to a mechanic to charge me $$$. I just can't figure it out.

check your kick panel fuses
driver side (left)-where your feet go

it is one of those, i had the same problem back in the day.


but im 99% sure its call "room light" or something along those lines. should be right column iirc. check them all if not.

I did. Nothing seems to be wrong. I'll check again though. Where does that wire/cables lead? Could that one be frayed?

get your FSM and take a look. if it is frayed, you'll have to pull out the front interior (dash) and all

im 99.999999 is a fuse. i just went out to my car right now. it should be ROOM LAMP 10A, right column, 3rd one down.
