Ok I FINALLY have all four matching 200sx wheels. Guy at the tire shop even installed and balanced the tires off my old steels onto the "new" wheels for FREE.

Are those wheels from the 4cly or the 6cly modles, and depending on that, what year is that from

it's from 85-86 200sx turbo models. I THINK it's the 4cyl version. Not sure if they made a turbo 6cyl.

hahaha, no the mustang isn't mine, i only put a k&n air filter. it's only a v6, automatic. it's my mom's. hey whitenissans13, where'd you get your half amber/half clear front turn signal lenses? How much did they cost you? I'm thinking about getting a pair. Maybe I can buy some cheap clear ones off ebay and paint half of it amber? I don't think I remember seeing them on your car at clairemont.

i bought them off ebay it was about 75 with shipping. i had them on at clairmont. i dont think it would work that well if you spraypaint clear ones, cause the clear part runs as just a daytime running light, while the other half flashes as a signal light, so like half stays on and half flashes i hope you understood it i don't really know how to explain it.

sykikchimp: Thanks. The balance of the car doesnt seem to be affected at all. The Rb motor is not that much heavier. This motor actually sits lower than the KA so it probly helps the balance more. the handling seems unchanged which is great with the JIC setup I have. As far as the weight balance I plan to get the corner wieghts soon when I set the car up and I will post them at that time. Oh and the work was done by Mckinney Motor sports. Great shop and as you can see quality of the work is great.

thanks for the compliment. it's actually seen better days, but it still runs fairly strong, and i do what i can to keep it that way.

i like to take photos of the Z to help me relax. i really prefer to take some nice drives with it, but the roads where i live at the moment are not nearly as great for it as the backroads in southern west virginia were.

i love nissan too. so many great cars to choose from! (though my favorites tend to be from the late 80s to late 90s)

id really like to change springs but i cant find anything i like. im happy with what i have, i just wanna go stiffer. id like to get KGMM race springs, but cant find them ANYWHERE. or, i could wait for the RSR race springs, they are similar to what i want. (5kgF/4.5kgR)

The 240 is stock (waiting for sr) and the RX7 has apex n1 true duals (two straight pipes all the way from the engine, loud as ****) and it is now lowered on intrax springs with kybs.

Hey guys, I finally decided to register. 8 months ago I got this 93 240sx. Since I bought it my goal was to prepare the car for for a rb25det. I kept the ka's mods minimum, but rather, I got everything I could, on a budget to prpare the car for its new source of power. I have freinds that go to Japan every two weeks so 90% of my stuff is JDM. MODS I have done so far: 1500$ deal, of silvia K front end, Tokico M's (JDM only), Trust Cat back exhaust, Work 16x7 front 16x8 rear, Potenzo 205 and 225's. not included in that deal that i bought was Tein stech springs, front sway bar, in cokpit sway bar (U prb never seen), rear sway bar, 4 Brembo drilled and slotted rotors, 255lph fuel pump. engine wise, Removed ac system, Electric fan conversion, test pipe ( dosnt do ****), ASP Crank pully, open element intake, removed resinator, 10.3mm wires and I think thats it. Any way, last week, I decided to go sr instead of rb for the 37th time in the past 8 months, eather way they are both fast as ****. What do you guys think, think its ready for swap. I fave to order the sr in two weeks, so I will install the sr in about 1.5 months. Thanks for your time, I am glad to be a new member of this site.

I just used some Rustoleum spray paint...Black Hammered Finish with a few coats of gloss clear. $15 total.

Thanks, they're real racing wheels. Mine are 16x8. These are my race wheels, I wouldn't recommend them for street driving. At only 14 lbs they would bend on potholes quite easily. Best place to get them are from Ron Ver Mulm at www.rsracing.com

yeah they are rivets, i measured them out to make them even, everybody that sees them compliments them, they hold basicly all that matters

And yes ,...she wants to DRIFT... The dual chamber APEXI BOV is loud... My other project from last year was an SR20 S14 automatic... known on the NWN board as well..hopefully will have his magazine photoshoot completed in august. This one is a lot meaner and faster and is full SHOW & GO...

The A032's are there for a reason...as well as the VLSD and the Function 6 Zeal's. As soon as everything has finished interior installs,...I have a fully locked rear end specially for the strip..there will a timeslip to prove it. The VLSD is for the Moto-X,as well as the Cusco rear V-bar..so this is a VERY SERIOS contendor at 13PSI.

No this is not a trailor queen,...it's cleen because I want it that way. It's driven hard and fast. The other Silvia owners here can contest to seeing me lead the way in 'outings' together.
By the way, this is the family (2nd) car as well!...was bought from brand new showroom to be that..and still is..it has a rear seat still intact for my 10yr old daughter. The tires and rims are 1 year old on her already.

I live in an area where there is a lot of air born dust and tree pollen , so I use a cover at night in my open car port parking spot.
It's nice to pull out to the track with what everyone expects as a show toy,..and turn the heads with a real car.

For one , I drive it in town all the time,..the traffic in Vancouver is crazy. The second reason , was the family car issue (my wife & I drive it). The next was that it really is fast..... it spools quickly and takes off like a shot. It's also fun to be different!
I have owned it since new and have no problems with the automatic,.... I downshift all the time and the overdrive has always worked great.
The only thing I need to complete on it is there is a power/hold switch for the AT tranny...and I don't have the pinoutouts for it...anyone that can halp me with this or knows where I can get this for the SR20..would be a great help!!!

It seems the FSM's everyone posts have overlooked that section of the manual....

Car is sanded down kinda and I just put my new wheels and tires on. Tires are 245/45/15 and 225/50/16 Yoks AVS ES100's Rims are Racing Sparco's 16x8 with a +38 offset rear, and 16x7 with +36 offset front. They are painted chromalusion hope to have some better pics up tomorrow.

You can get the 3M tape from any auto body store or auto parts store. If you can't get it PM me and I'll send you one.

This is my R31 Pintara, iv just fitted a CA18DET into it, its pretty well stock, its got a series 5 RX7 top mount intercooler and is running 12psi. Has a 5 speed and stock everythin else. Probly the fastest R31 Pintara on the gold coast. Should be fun to drive.

Ya the thing is really low because it's still on the cut springs.That's how the guy the car (w/ cut springs) I gotta get coilovers for it. And it looks hella low also because the side skirts and rear aren't on yet. Getting bomex sideskirts and rear. And as for the I/C and piping I gotta get that stuff too. Don't worry I'll have more pics once it gets closer to finishing.
