hopefully in a few days i should be getting a 240sx myself from my friends co-worker. the only details i know is that its a '93 (dunno if coupe or fb) and its a 5 speed. and currently has non-op tags on it since the car starts but shuts off quickly after :ughd:

I hope the new wheels will be here soon. I have been waiting on the Touge FActory Group buy since end of Feb. I ordered the DT-05R's in Hyperblack. 17x8.5 F and 17x9.5 R

Hopefully those will give the car a little more aggressive stance.

The carpet is not OEM, I forget the place I got it but it was online. Fits just like the OEM carpet did though.

JGY did not do the swap, I got the engine and most of the parts from them though.

I did the swap with the help of a couple of friends. I highly reccomend JGY, very helpful and good prices!

Damn, cdigity, that looks so hot! I love originality, and that is so off the hook. Definately NOT what you see on a two-forty. I'm more of a subtle flavor myself, but that is one helluva job.

So I finally got my rims from Jspec. 17x8 +27 & 17x9 +35. With additional 5mm spacers front and 3mm at the back.

I wish I can slam her a little more but she's kissin' the ground already...

Finally got some wheels.The sizes are 18*8 with 30 offset in the front with 2in lip and 18*9 with 35 in rear with 3in lip, I was originally gonna go with stretched tires but these arent flush enough and I dont really feel like buying spacers/longer studs,,so im gonna go with the beefy look. What sizes would be best? i was thinking 245 and 275.

are you serious? becuase if this is something someone wants to do, ill do it when i get coilovers just to see.

edit saw your other post - yeah i was actually thinking the +12... we'll see by my measurements and my handy dandy offset calulator it should clear the front strut by like about 8-10mm but stick outta the fender like 3inches :)

to me the kouki tail lights look weird on a car that still has a zenki front bumper, not as bad on chuki..but still...kouki=new school zenki/chuki=old school [/rant] :blah:

pbucch=alot of places have them,,clearcorners.com, ebay,,etc..
the timidator=the fitment was not bad at all,,it did need some dremeling, grinding, sanding but if you cant handle that you shouldnt be buying the kit. You can see in the pics that the fit is pretty good. It took us mabie 4 hours to fit it on. I dont see what the big deal is,, I can tell you though that the ait fenders fit like shaat, nobody buy those :nono:

Actually, it sparked a brainstorm. In all honestly, the black I used for the wheels is very good. It shines and hold to whatever you spray it on. I might do my whole car Thursday. Im thinking about 10 cans of spray paint will do.

I'm not sure how much camber i'm running but the front camber plates are maxed out, and the rears have too much...i plan on rolling the fenders this weekend and might try pulling the rear ones alittle bit. I still have to figure out a way to do it.

well, i see that you have 5 lugs and sunroof, so i'm guessing that is an SE, mine's a base model so 5600 for an SE is still a very good price, it looks really nice by the way, i'm not a very big fan of carbon fiber but it looks good in your car.

I bought it like that. The Silvia conversion is also supposedly lighter than USDM front end, also has greater cooling capabilities. Plus... isn't having good headlights awesome?

The Timanator- Raised hood is for heat dissipation. Is there a point to it on the street? No. Have I been too lazy to take the spacers out? Yes.

Mrmeph- I don't like the Q's bumper, so I think I'll get an Aero bumper. I'm not into JDM for the sake of JDM, I'm into functionality for the sake of functionality. The Aero bumper gives me more room to cram little fogs and some brake ducting into the side (i.e. flanking the center) openings and a more room for an intercooler in the center opening. Gotta think ahead, ya know. I got some K's badges with the car... I don't know why I said that because I'm not putting 'em on, but I'm also not going to sell them. They're shiny.

I think I'm gonna go flat-black with it, or maybe factory two-tone colors... in primer. All I know is I want it to be matte for now.

Yup i do still got some roll working on it lol. That was the best event i ever been too. I happen to be on vaction in VA beach for that one. The are was so huge no way describe it. There holding the Southeast Divisional Solo2 at the same place.

The Desmond Regamasters are the new rims. The bottom pic is the old rims, Kakimoto NG-Ts. Without good light and the centercaps its hard to see the center on the Kakimoto rims.

The corner lights are spray tinted yellow. Its actually fading a little bit so I might respray it.

Thanks! Yeah actually I used to. My parents live up in Parisppany area so I drive 287 from 202 to go there. Now I got a second black stocker S14 as my daily driver so I don't drive the green one home very much.

Oh ok, thanks. :) When I got the bumper it had a hole cut in it for a SMIC. It looked crappy, so I went to town on it with a grinder and that's what I came up. I like the goofiness of it. :D

I cut them out, I just did a crappy job at it. I probably shouldn't have, but I probably shouldn't have cut any of it.
I plan on putting my chuki lip on it, I've just been lazy. The zenki lip is too low, it'd break off all the time on my car...

zenkis lips are indestructible :), lol well not really, but it should hold up especially since there are enough bolts to hold it. I have hit road kill with mine, and friend has scooped up a bunny... and it still was fine (this all by mistake). But then again your bumper would probably fall apart if the lip got caught instead of the lip falling off.

Nothing wrong with pink son. You just need to be confident in your straightness (or gayness I suppose) to rock it.

I got mine on YahooJP, but these guys (http://www.khltrading.com/Other-Page/Cup.htm) may be able to get them, as they carry every other one made by Meho except the robot. They also make a silver robot, which was my first choice, but I couldn't find it so I settled for pink.
