Posted this as a reply in the Cage Pic thread but figured id get a quicker response if i made my own thread. Gonna be getting my cage done by my buddy in a couple of weeks but wanted to get your guys recommendation on what size i should go with. And if it helps any, we all know pricing for this stuff is different so NO pricing does not matter to me, i just know a few guys who wish they would of gone with a certain size but didnt because it was too much, just wanna know what ya'll recommend.

DOM
1.5" .095
1.5" .125
1.75" .095
1.75" .125

Thanks guys!

DOM 1.5" .125 is very common tubing used for cages on and off-road. Remember material is half the battle, put time into design

I would strongly recommend going with 1.5" .095 DOM, the .125 wall would be if you were to use mild steel.

Check out the specs from the SCCA rule book, it will tell you the requirements for what you intend to use your car for.

Plus if you would save about 25-30lbs in weight.
