Alright, I've been looking around for a while now and just thought i'd see if someone on here knew something. I am needing to just get some cheap oem wheels with decent widths in 16's because i just went 5 lug, I know crown vic meshies will work and it seems to be that they are 16X7 +0, but I was told that they are 16x8 however so I just wanted to see if anyone on here knew for sure, thanks guys

The Ford mesh wheels that are commonly used are from HPP (High Performance Package) equipped Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis. There are two versions, but both are the same size; 16x7 +20. Difference is the is a slight change in design.

I picked up a set of 5 lug SE rims for $80 on craigslist, for the same purpose. You might want to see if you can find a set of those.

Why? For the same price, or close, you can have .5" more width and -20 less offset.

Plus better styling. They're truly great wheels for the money.

Stock S14 SE wheels are gay unless you just finished a 5 lug swap.
Crown wheels are like 2 steps above S14 SE wheels on broke 5 lug upgrade.

they are actually 16x7 +4.6
yea, the offset is positive four and six tenths, just wanted to clear that up.

Old thread, I know, but I'm trying to find info about these rims. I think they look great (like SSR style yo) and I plan on getting a set since I just went 5 lug.
Do these look like they have spacers behind them? I gotta know, because I want this look.

Just so you know:
crown vics have a ~70.5mm hub centerbore and 240sx's have 66.1 so a hubcentric ring may be necessary to prevent wheel balance issues

these have been cool for a while.
low cars (on a budget) fair well with these.

thanks for the correction. I remember copying it from a crown vic forum as I didn't know the offset by heart.

funny shit. i've been pondering these as spares once i go 5 lug. 16 inch tires are practically given away too.
found this link if you want a new set. not amazingly cheap, but a BUTT LOAD better than sportmax rota etc for the price.

Just so you know:
crown vics have a ~70.5mm hub centerbore and 240sx's have 66.1 so a hubcentric ring may be necessary to prevent wheel balance issues
So I'd need hub centric rings with ^those^ inner/outer diameters? I just want to make sure I order the right rings the first time.
Taken from Crownvic.net:
1995 and new 240SX has a 5 on 114.3 (4.5") bolt pattern with a 66.06mm hub bore. In Theory the wheels will fit and if you get a hub-centric ring 66.06mm ID and 70.5mm OD, you'll have less chance of vibration. Only thing is the offset may get you and the rims may stick out too far. I'm not sure what a stock 240SX's offset is. http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
So I'm guessing these rims don't use "acorn" or "conical" style lug nuts which would center the wheel by the lugs?
these have been cool for a while.
low cars (on a budget) fair well with these.
Exactly what I have in mind!

Those are the ones I'll probably end up buying. I've asked a bunch of locals with Crown Vics to sell theirs but every time they go to say no, their dentures fall out.
I've even had wanted ads up in 3 cities on Craigslist trying to get a set but the one caller I got wanted like $600. Like hell Montel.
Still needing to know if I'm seeing spacers around the hub nuts in those pics I posted earlier!

Goggle it.
My guess on the picture above is no spacers.just big tires to fill out.225's would be my guess.
Ohh and i believe you can also puchase these wheel from aftermarket part companys like (keystone).
The wheels are decently light but ofcoarse do not compare to the real deal SSR's

Yeah I'm hoping I don't need spacers to achieve that look. Those tires are 205/50's all around.
It almost seems like the caps that go over the hub nuts stick out of these rims a little less, which could imply that there's a spacer. But I guess it could also mean the hole in the rim is deeper. I'm comparing it to a steely, which has a LOT of hub nut cap sticking out, but I guess since it's steel then it's thin.

Sorry for bumping this old ass thread, but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
I bought these rims and I want to know what size spacers will I need to clear 300ZX 26MM calipers up front?
