on my s13, I just wired them into my headlight motor switch light, when the headlights come on... they lit up. There was a metal bar behind the instrument cluster I grounded them to and if you have a dimming or color changing control the wires fit perfectly directly under the panel and no need to worry about hiding those wires. Hope that helps.
some people wire them up to the factory dimmer switch

Thanks guys for your advice. I appreciate it, really. The last time I wired some indiglo's to my s13, I wired them into my audio wiring system and fried two of my pioneer stereo system. They lights on the head units still came on, but no audio could be heard. Anyone hooking up new indiglo's, please don't wire them in to your audio, you will fry it.....

Erm, yeah. If you were just using the hot wire from your radio harness, it shouldn't 'fry' your head unit unless it shorts out. Or if your head unit had a 'power out' wire and you came from that you could just have drawn too much juice through the radio, but that would be absolutely retarded to do. And don't most head units come with a fuse? Basically you can wire your indiglos to any hot wire, just make sure you put a inline fuse in. But then always make sure to put a fuse on ANY extra powered item... unless you feel like seeing how easily your car will light up.
