Can you run the SR20 with no IACV if you crack the throttle plate? (Obviously it wouldnt run until fully warm) Just curious.

Yes. The idle is shitty as hell both cold and warm, but it will stay running.

did you search before posting this question? I remember when I was thinking about doing this, but I searched and found all my answers. Internal metal parts expand at higher temps, you want your engine to reach operating temp before you beat the shit out of it.

I search before posting any question thanks, I know how metal works and i always let it warm up completely until normal operating temperature before even moving the car, so back to the topic at hand:wavey:
