I tried searching but no results.I just purchased a vlsd cover for my new kaaz 2 way. The stock open diff cover has a breather tube on it, but the vlsd cover does not. All the vlsd cover has is a block off tube where the breather tube is on the other cover. My question is, is it necessary to remove the breather from the other cover and transfer it to this one? I'd also like to know why the open diff cover has one and the vlsd does not.

Thanks ahead of time for everyones input.

You sure it's fully blocked? Some covers have a cap that's vented, it looks solid but there's a little gap along the bottom edge, kind of like a fireplace vent, air pressure can release around the cap and blow out the bottom edge.

Interesting, I did not look at it to see if it had a bottom vent, I will check it out in a bit. Thanks for the info!
