SR20DET Throttle Cable Bracket ?

Does the stock S13 Throttle Cable Bracket work with the 240sx (1992) throttle cable?

When I bought my car the previous owner zipped tied the throttle cable to the fuel line (near fuel filter)... so ghetto!

I am wondering if I could use a stock SR20DET bracket or do you need to make a custom bracket?

when i did my swap i used the stock sr20det bracket and the silvia throttle cable that came with my clip. it's short, so you just run it from the firweall, over the valve cover to the throttle body. kinda stuipd, but it works.

A few people have told me you need to make a custom bracket when using the SR20DET engine with the 240sx throttle cable.

Clark used the actual Silvia throttle cable.

Anyone else have any opinions?

i used the stock sr20det bracket with my original cable from my car. its a 90 240sx i didnt have a motor when i got the shell so i dont know what ka it had in it. it fits a little tight over the motor but it works. i read some were u need a ka dohc cable because its longer but didnt try because mine reached.
