okay guys ... long story short... my friend who went to uti for 4 years... said he would help me with timing my rb20.... we'll he doesn't know how to do it anymore...? so anyways....


basically i would take it to a shop but the motor is in the my garage and waiting to go in.. so i can't take it to a shop....

i've read the fsm... i've read on forums... everything i can't figure out how to time this thing...

i was wondering if you guys could help me out if i posted pictures of what is actually going on...? or if someone is willing to help me time this thing?... or if anyone else has any other suggestions?






i'm getting the tdc mark dead on ( mark on belt and lower cover) i'm getting the intake mark dead on on the belt and cam gear and cover) the exhaust mark... is 6-7 teeth off.....

exhaust..... off by more then 8 or so... the belt.. cam is in line with valve cover mark...

might be the stupid question of all... but how do you know when its in time... the motor turns all the way around without force?
