ive been having alot of problems with my car lately and i keep gettin mixed answers and i dont trust certian people when it comes to my car...

--> BEFORE: my turbo would spool and u wouldnt hear it realease the air
NOW: my turbo spools and it flutters
(what caused this? and is it bad for the motor?)
--> BEFORE: my car never lagged boost between shifts
NOW: it does..
( keep in mind my throttle cable is slacked and changing this will hopefully fix the problem)
--> my diverter valve isnt sucking or blowing any air at all and when i removed one of the hoses i found white powder all around the the inside of the hoses and around the metal
(whats the problem?)

--> will gettin a blow off valve, intercooler kit allowed me to remove my diverter valve and all those hoses leading into the intake?
--> i had a debate tonight about blow off valve placement, personnaly ive only seen the blowoff valve on the midpipe that leads down into the intercooler, whereas my friend told me its better to place the blowoff valve on the cold pip leading OUT from the intercooler into the intake manifold
(which is recommended?)

i have so many questions and no one to answer them.. so i would really appreciate all the help i can get guys!

Your turbo is fluttering now because the extra air the turbo spools up has no where to release because you have no blow off valve. Almost sounds like you have a timing issue, usually if you hear your turbo spooling up but your car is going nowhere, the ignition timing is too retarded.

Lets tackle your problems 1 at a time

The Flutter is called "compressor surge". Sounds like something sneezing under the hood.

The lag between shifts is the "compressor surge". It basically stalls out the wheel on the turbo and the turbo has to spool up again

The divertor valve is stuck. This is what's causing the above to happen.

BOV placement. There are two trains of thought here.

Some people like placing it near the throttle body on the pipe coming from the intercooler. The reason is when the throttle closes and you shift. The air stacks up at the plate and starts moving backwards to stall the turbo. Nip the reverse flow quickly and vent it.

Some people like placing it on the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler because when it vents the air hasn't passed through the intercooler and thus gives you a minuscule intercooler efficiency boost. Place it where you want it and don't get a cheap one that leaks. If you search on here you'll find 4000000 posts about bad idle problems and leaky BOV's.
