So I was just bored and happened to be looking for a new blank key because mine bent and I stumbled across these. I guess you can purchase them directly from their site, but I've seen them on ebay too. 24.95 plus shipping from these guys. Heres the link.

I find the OEM Nissan key better looking. It looks tacky in my opinion. I mean it's a freakin' badge. I don't know, just not for me I guess.

I'd rather have the Snap-On Screw Driver keys. At least those are funny and you could always joke that you're stealing you're own car lol.

in this case, its a fucking key.. big deal. if people complain about price, very simple: go make your own. any key will work, no one says you *need* a fancy key. theres no reason to complain about this piece of shit... if you dont want it or cant justify the price, move on.

its like people complaining about the cost of the 180sx front lip. very simple, lips are typically more expensive than the bumper because they know there are plenty of idiots who will lower their cars excessively and then fuck up their lip. its a cash cow for any manufacturer.

i actually have this key and personally loved it! everyone that i know locally who has seen the key gargle on my balls about it, so its gotta be doing something right. all i had for a key was a garbage cut key from your local hardware store so this is much much nicer, and I own an 180sx with an s14 front end conversion and the key to a 240sx from nissan is ugly and the silvia s13 key wouldnt match my car.

to each their own i guess :D

its a very weighted key and made well. the key blank is just glued into the housing and that is what came apart, so an easy fix.

I've bought both an OEM key for my Z32, which is a different design from most other keys, and for several other 240s, no problem. They're cheap too from the dealer. I dunno why you're saying they're hard to find.

You can get Z keys anywhere. I mean uncut OEM Nissan Keys like this.

If you know where to get em, let me know. I'm having a hard time finding them. The dealer here only has shitty Axxess keys.

Yeah, for $25, and it seperated, it is trash.
Looks kinda cool, but quality wise its fucked.
Hell, i thought it was actually machined and painted originally too.
Being 2 piece means its even cheaper.
Im sure no one is gonna disagree with that, not even the guy that it happened to.
Now if someone wants to pay $25 for it because they like the looks, then cool. go for it.

Not sure if you realize the damage done to drift cars at the track.

Zipties release my bumper when it scrapes a wall, haybail, cone or car. Being held on my Zipties also makes them easy to put on.

The front 2 fenders have been broken 3 times on one side and 4 on the other. Refiberglassed and a slap of vinyl tape to cover the cracks.

the bumpers also come off in seconds so that I can fix things, or remove them quikly if im worried about hitting things on the track.

The Vinyl cost $130 total.
I would have had to paint my car about 13 times since i went vinyl.
I am still using the original $130 worth of vinyl to patch the car.

sorry If I dont have money to have my car completely replaced to the best body panels and best paint job money can buy every month.
If not 2-4 times a month.

But at over 20 events a year, i am giving back to the motorsports community by paying track fee's. helping instruct other drivers, my photography, and my knowledge.
And i am happyto support and be a part of something great, fun and fulfilling.

Just keep building the best 240sx in the world and bench racing then.
Im sure HIN and NOPI are waiting to see your car finished.
