i'm looking for a motor for my 510, and i can get a 90k KA24DE + trans with full wiring harness and ecu for 550. the only thing is that the head has been off for about a year so i'll have to tear it down and make sure nothing is in it. should i offer 500, or go lower? it's a local guy, and he's been real nice about the whole deal, offering me any help i might need, so i don't want to dick him out of anything.
has anyone got a take on this?

I wouldn't buy that for that price. Complete, running, kade motorsets go for that much.

for Chicago thats a decent price with all thats included and mileage ect.
damn that fucking sucks for Chicago peeps.
I just sold my entire Dual cam swap to my buddy thats putting it in his 4 door 510, and I gave that to him for $600 total including 5sp tranny, wiring harness, and ecu.
Looks like you guys need a Cali hook

either that or you could stop making useless threads and just do some research in the fs threads

I sold a 92 KA wit 188k for 750 everything included really it all depends on how smart of a buyer or seller you are, so be wise with your money do what you feel is a fair price
I honestly think that if you have to question it then its too expensive.
