View Full Version : Different engines?
Just wondering what the sr20det and CA18DET and ka's actually mean. I assume the letters and numbers mean something...is the # displacement? Whats the other stuff mean?

They should all be different wiring diagrams. I'm not entirely sure, though.

KA/SR/CA--motor "family"...not sure what it means past that.
24/20/18--displacement in liters x 10 (2.4L, 2.0L, 1.8L)
D--Double Overhead Cam
E--Electronic Fuel Injection (I think)
T--Turbocharged

Ummm, there is no such thing.
Although you can spend massive ammounts of $ to get a stroker kit for the SR and make it a 2.2L.

I feel your pain AJ. College suck you dry. I'm fighting to keep my car gased, insured, and maintained. It's hard talking you all of you and hearing about turbos and swaps.
I want my turbo!

Yeah, at least you guys go to college. I just graduated from high school and I do nothing but check www.zilvia.net all day long and make a lil' bit of money while doing so. So, at least one day you guys will make more money, stop complaining!!!

College cost's money? I have scholarships to pay for college when I get out of the military, so I have $20,000+ from the GI bill going in my pocket, hehehe. Suddenly I think my decision to enlist isn't that bad.
