since i try and save all the cash i can get my hands on, and not waste it :) id like to get an exaust sometime soon, so heres my question...

if i put an n1 dual on my ka now, when i do the rb25det swap, will it still work and do i have to make any type of custom parts once the engine is swapped?

you'll be needing to make a custom downpipe for the RB in the S chassis, anyway, so just have it made so it mates up to the N1 exhaust.

so yes, get it, and it will work just fine. :)

exhaust is chassis specific..not engine specific.

That works to a point.. such as the engine must be from the car it's going in... as in RB = Skyline and having that engine in the S-chassis negates that sentence. You'll need a custom downpipe made, since it's a different chassis.
Also, the early CA engines had their own exhausts for the s13 due to the downpipe on the engine.

I'm planning on doing the swap also. You can actually buy a custom downpipe from unstable-hybrids that will fit any exhaust for the 240....

(go to products, then install kits)

150$.. not bad for a dp.

Hope that helps,

Right...our downpipe will bolt up to the factory cat, which bolts up to the factory or any aftermarket cat-back exhaust. We can only guarantee fitment with our downpipe if you are using our mount kit...other mount options will place the motor differently and require a different downpipe for proper fitment.

yes. it's basically 3" all the way through. unless you are cranking out 600+ hp, you'll be fine.

i have no idea. by the time you have a T67 on there, along with cams, boost/fuel management, etc., you'll have enough money to buy a bigger, better exhaust. just get the duals for now, if you like them. if you feel that they are a restriction later, just try a GT Spec or something.
