hello all
this is the set up we figured out for my s13 coupe
enkei rpf 1's 5 lug car
front 17x9 +22...tire prob 235/40/17
rear 18x9.5 +15 tire prob 255 or 265/35/18
rear would get a nice gangster roll and pull
Just in mind that i have full suspension, coils, ma motorsports knuckle angle kit..rear arms and stock areo.
I prob need to run a 20 or 25 mm project kics spacers.
Wheel guru's only give imput and pics if you can.
Also if u got wide fenders in the front would i need to change the spacer
thanks

I dont see any reason for spacers unless you cant clear the brakes for whatever reason. The fronts should work great. I dislike staggerd wheel diameters but that wasnt the question so....
The rears will work too assuming you do get your fenders pulled. Your going to have to do a decent pull so be ready to get out the bondo and fix the stress dents that happen. They really cant be pulled out either, they just suck right back in.
Also, a 265 on a 18 with just a roll can be done, but your not really going to be able to get real low like that if you want to keep the tire from hitting the fender unless your willing to run lots a camber which just keeps most that tire off the ground anyways.
If I were you I would run a 235 or 245 40 on the 18s. Actually Id probably run 17x9 +22 all the way around with 235 40s all the way around.
Well thats food for thought. I have rolled and pulled fenders and have ran many different tire sizes and wheel fitments on my 5 lug s13
Im currently running 0 offset 17x9 all the way around with 215 40 up front and 225 45 out back.

Find those pics, Id like to see a pic of a pull that looks decent and allows for a wheel/tire setup like that without crazy camber. Im really guessing your going to end up needing to run enough camber to fit that tire that you would actually have just as much tire on the ground if you went with less tire and less camber. Crazy camber end up ruining a tire so quick drifting too, it just goes strait to the belts even though I do think lots of camber does feel better on a drift car.
Your going to really need to be making allot of power and plan on doing some really high speed drifting in order to actually NEED that much tire out back. If you are then sweet, good for you and best of luck. Im not trying to be negetive to you in any way but I have delt with allot of tire setups and wheel setups on since I have a few different sized wheels, different sized spacers, access to all kinds of different sized tires, a tire mounting machine and a fully adjustible suspension.
I gave my :2c: because you asked, you made a thread just to ask actually. This thread were in right now.
So if you know it will work why is this thread here? Im saying it wont and Im doubting you actually need that much tire.
Check out federal 595ss tires. They are cheap, stretch freaken easy like they were meant to be stretched by design, wear good, dont chunk, and are sticky. They last long too. If you need more than a 235-245 on them then you really are going high speed and making tons of power, but there are several other tire choices then as the federals are 240 tread wear. You can pick from several yokahama and bridgston tires from the 180-140 tread wear range and you should surely not need that wide of a tire then.
What tire do you have in mind? What tires have you used in the past that makes you feel that you are going to need a 265 with this next setup?

yea i have images on google and i have to upload my friend car...yea i want 265 or 255....but yea any 2cents helps... I really only want to run 1 to 1.5 degress of rear camber.....What would be then 18x? ideal size for the rear...dont mind still rolling fenders
this is my friends car he runs 1.5 camber...265 abd 9.5 rims forget the offset

Too bad I don't have an S13, that's damn close to my setup. I think the rear is going to be too aggressive, why not an 18x9 +22 with a 255/265? That would fit and be flush

I still dont see why you dont go 17x9 +22 all the way around. There is a set of advan sa3r's for sale locally here for $800 im drooling all over lol, so I want that setup! Just aint spending the money on the wheels.
My honest advice though, if you want that setup so bad, just buy the wheels, do it and make it work. A picture isnt going to tell you what all you have to pound on and what all your going to have to do to make them fit, but having the clearance problems will force you to get creative.
