Well guys I have been trying to figure out why my car is running rough as of late. I thought that I had a leaking number for injector because that spark plug was black and I could pull the spark plug wire off and the car would not change. So I replaced the o-ring on that injector, cleaned the spark plug and the car ran great for all of 5 minutes. When it started running rough again I proceeded to pull off spark plug wires and now the number 1 cylinder would cause no effect to the engine if you removed that spark plug wire. I replaced that o-ring on the injector and on the rest of the injectors on the car. The car still ran rough but after I replaced all of the o-rings I started pulling spark plug wires again and now the number 2 cylinder is causing no change to the engine.
What could cause a different each time to act up? The spark plug wires are ngk and are almost brand new. When I pull the wires off, I can put the end of the wire to something metal and see the spark jump so that tells me that all of the cylinders are getting spark.
Could it be that I have just messed up all my spark plugs and now each one miss fires when it feels like it?
I just don't know what would cause a cylinder to act up but then be fine and different cylinder to then act up. The car ran fine with the turbo for a while now so I know that everything is setup okay.
I am running a stock fuel pressure regulator. Could that be it?
Here is my setup
t28
450cc injectors
walbro 255
z32 maf
smic
stock bov recir
romisburning ecu.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.
Are all the sparkplugs gapped properly?

Yes, all of the plugs are gaped properly.

Well I switched the number 1 and 2 injector and that changed nothing. But right after I did that blue smoke started coming from the exhaust. I have oil on my #2 spark plug and you can see a puddle of oil down there if you use a flash light. I did a compression test and here are the results
cylinder #1 150psi
cylinder #2 225psi (you can actually see oil if you take the spark plug off and look down with a flash light) that is why the compression is so high.
cylinder #3 150psi
cylinder #4 150psiSo, what do you suspect is the problem. A friend of mine believe that the turbo seals are leaking? Anyone have any feedback. Thanks.

I noticed now in the daylight that there is oil leaking from where the turbo connects to the manifold. What could case this?

I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

If oil is pooling like that you may have blown oil seal in the turbo. Does

The only thing is the oil is leaking before/above the turbo and there is no oil in the intercooler piping.

its cause the oil is coming from your motor oil sealer ring on your pistons are going bad hence the colored smoke from the exhaust and the oil from the turbo manifold.
what did you do to your ka to support the turbo kit????

I am starting to believe that it is the valve seals due to those compression numbers. And due to the fact that it started happening literally within a 5 minute time span. My setup is listed in the first post, but if you are talking about the bottom end it is all stock. I am running 7lbs of boost. I also plan on doing a leak down test soon, so that should give me a better idea of whats going on.

yeah i would definitely do a leakdown test. It could be one of three things: piston rings, valve seats, or turbo seal

Based on the fsm, your compression should read a minium of 151 psi. Your rings are getting tired out seems like....

The only thing about that is, I forgot to do the compression test with the throttle body open so it is to my understanding that the compression numbers I got are actually lower than what they are.

I did another compression test with the car at wot like I was supposed to do. I also wanted to note that I did not let the car warm up first because I did not want the oil that is getting into the number 2 cylinder to skew the numbers like last time. Here are the results that I am very happy about.
cylinder 1 170
cylinder 2 165
cylinder 3 170
cylinder 4 170
So, I do not think it is the rings. So does this mean that it has to be the valve seals? Also, if it is the valve seals do you think that I could get away with replacing them without taking off the head or do you think that a valve guide is messed up and I would just wind up ruining more seals?
Another thing that I would like to mention is that the two owners before me and myself had been religiously using 10w40 synthetic in the car before the turbo was put on. Then when I installed the turbo I used 10w30 conventional. (this was because we forgot to get oil and that is what we had in our shop.) I did not think it would be that big of deal, but do you think that could have something to do with the seals all of a sudden going bad? Thands for all the help guys I really appreciate it.
