I'm not from Ca, but I've read here that it will not pass emmissions in Ca, not sure about CT.

Best case scenario is that with a nice, fresh cat you can pass the sniffer test (used in many states). &nbsp;The problem in CA and many other urban areas is the visual test. &nbsp;In this, you engine will be visually inspected to make sure that all emissions equipment is present. &nbsp;On an SR, it ain't! &nbsp;Over all result is failure and possible impoundment of your ride (so I hear). &nbsp;If you are doing an SR, make sure you know someone who can facilitate you annual emissions inspection. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
