Here is what I have:
LC-1 with XD-16
Redtop SR with skinny O2.

Does anyone know what the skinny o2 sensor voltages should be vs. af or lambda?

right now Its dumping fuel at idle and making my car run at about 10:1 af.

The skinny o2 works completly different then the fatty o2 sensor, there is no comparision what so ever. The skinny (Titania sensor) is not compatible with the ECU or engine harness of a fatty o2 sensor. They must be a match.

Im using the default settings on my lc1 and it works fine. It may not be as quick and crisp as the factory o2 sensor but it does get itself to 14.7 within a second or 2.

incorrect.

SR skinny and fat sensors function the same and are interchangeable.


The fat ka sensor functions different - but the sr ones both funtion the same.



LC-1 standard narrowband settings are close tho.

well its sure not acting like it.

I've got an E5 ecu from another car and I put it in place of my 62 ecu. It takes the settings fine and works perfect.

The 62 ecu is in perfect condition and only has this problem when I tried to use the LC-1 to feed the signal.

I recently did a topmount conversion and didn't want to mount an o2 bung in the down pipe. Especially one that was going to require the oddball 12mm x 1.25 bung.

All redtop/blacktop harnesses are pinned and wired similarly. From what I've been reading these last few days..... is the o2 circuit in the ECU is what is different....

I've got an old lug nut laying around I could cut up and use as a bung I guess. ..... I'll try it either tonight or tomorrow and post up the results.

Your wrong. Dont spread bad info. Its a titania o2 sensor and it works off varible resistance as it gets heated and generates a varying resistance value.

The Fatty type (Zirconia) sensors generate a varible voltage value 0-1 volt.

I dont expect most people to know the difference because obviously regaurdless of which sensor used your car is still going to run. Most people dont care or arent anal enough to care weather something is correct or not.

If you can get a used fatty and skinny o2 sensor from the actual motorset and send it to me somehow, I will run them both on the same exhaust stream and show you the datalog.

There are a couple of things that need to be cleared up in the link. For example:

When you rev the engine a little bit the voltage should bounce around more frequently (cycling voltage) within the specs I told you, this means its reading properly.

How quickly the sensor can cycle the sensor voltage is called the "cross count". The higher the cross count, the more accurate the sensor is going to be.

The voltage bouncing around could also be caused by bad grounding and/or EM interference.
