OK so i got the car running annd all that good stuff. BUT... Wont go past 2500 RPM. I been looking and everywhere says its a maf issue. I bought the car from a guy who had a Z32 maf on it and was tuned useing an safc neo. Well the swap didnt come with a MAF so i bought a q45 off of a buddy. Do you think it could be staying under the 2500 RPM because it still thinks the z32 is hooked up? I cant seem to figure it out. Anyone have this issue before?

You need to set up the SAFC for the Q45 MAF

there are multiple threads here that tell you the IN & OUT settings

IMO the Q45 MAF is overkill and have heard they are hard to get to idle
Find a Z32 MAF hit up J30's in the Junk yard

yea i agree its total overkill but i got the maf with pigtail for 20 bucks so i figured it would work for now. Ill look into setting that NEO up and see if it helps. thanks

well i been looking but all i am finding is SAFc settings with the z32 maf. I believe it would be Either 1 in and 6 out or 1 in and 2 out. i know that 1 in is the q45 maf. but i cant find any other info on useing it with the SR20DET. basicly just trying to set this MAF to work with that engine. Im not planning on haveing any tuneing done to it till i upgrade things from stock. hopefully after setting this up it will run much better.

So i will be selling my neo and i just bought emanage with harness and software tool so i can just have it tuned and get it over with. Anyone looking for a NEO SAFC?

The z32 maf has more power potential than a q45 maf though. So how can it be over kill but you suggest a z32?

If they are harder to get to idle something is wrong with your o2 sensor.
