how long did you hold the key over for? was the crank turning over fairly quickly or very slow as it would with a battery that was dying? Did you leave the spark plugs in or take them out? Have you done any internal modifications to the engine that would warrant me asking "did you use a new o-ring on the oil pick up?"

COME ON, DETAILS!!

i jsut swapped it in. everything is stock. its not even cranking, only clicking. sparkplugs were left in as im trying to prime the oil system and the turbo.

Haven't touched timing nor has it ever been messed with. just done basica stuff liek replaced clutch. Nothing major to effect it from turning on and itsgetting fuel to the rail.

Ok so the problem was in my wiring to the coil packs. Got her started up and is all good except fro a few bugs i have to work out. First is that when in neutral it will rev up good but when driving it wont got past three grand and idle is kinda funky when in gear too. Im pretty sure its a few major boost leak problems that i have to check out. But anything else any one else would check? also i know the maf is good because my maf plug came off while driving and ran horrible and plugged it back in and it worked better besides it not going past threee grand. any help is appricaited

if its still not revving past 3k, sounds like maybe a bad mass air flow sensor. just double check your maf wiring or possibly a boost leak like you said..... good luck....
