rear billstein shocks, home made seperated coilover using random coil springs, and metal tubing

KA24E swap with 130 k miles previously auto now manual
random cold air intake with k n filter shoots through car under the battery tray
home made 2.5/3 inch exaust to HKS muffler

wheel off a boat. but im going to be cool and say its some $$ brand

thanks, it was all pretty clean till i started drifting, the ka is getting old and nasty, and shit breaks, i keep replacing it

its only been like 4 events but tis time for SR or CA18

started taking the h165 axle apart (disk brake conversion)
its not really common to find these disks so i dont have much info on the writeup

i could possibly swap those axles and bolt them into my other solid axle

but im not sure if

A my h190 diff has the same spleen gear as the h165 axles
and
B im not sure how much weaker the h165 axles are...

because the h190 differential on my car is rated at a silly 285 tq

possibly the h165 axles could be even more weak, and i dont want that shitt


if i had a god damn irs s12... aka any other year then 1984, id have disks, and a r180 good for liike 300+ tq

made a right side dash mount. the left is resting on the steering colum, ill cut out room so it can go up and down, and make a left mount. the mounts im making are bendable metal, so i bend them so they hold the dash, once i get the m bent in perfect place ill gusset them and then bolt them back in
then at the end ill paint the dash black

i feel like if i DONT paint it black, ill die from being blinded by the sun... its very shiny haha

if anyone doesnt remember the previous owner stripped the steering colum thread for the wheel, i had impacted a jeep lugnut on there to hold my hub in efforts to keep the wheel hub on and continue to drift

intercooler piping is next. and a decision on engine management needs to be made


i got the intercooler and the manifold in from my friends being away finally


i put it up on a ka i have, but not the designated one. the one im using has 87k miles. and is automatic so hopefully wont be abused

ive riddin in the s13, drove it, and have watched it for about a year since it was swapped,
on the bone stock t25 with stock boost and everything it puts out 193 rwh on the dynojet


it has greddy RAS and i ahve a freddy oil pan i might decide to fit (the stock oil pan has a indentation of the stock s13 sway bar from heating a rock awhile ago)


front main seal was changed before the wreck, ill be changing the rear main, valve cover, and simple important gaskets.

im adding my gt2860r and running stock boost until i get some injecters and everything planned out.


from the wreck the coolant elbow was broken, ive aquired a new one


also looking to trade my #62 ecu for a #63 so i dont have to use the stupid trans sensors. if not. its whatever

two things to tell you that will save some time.

First, SR's hate to have an atmospheric BOV that close to the TB without a SAFC; you will undoubtably have idle issues and run rich. Check your oil often for fuel diluting. And second, those gaskets that came with that exhaust manifold WILL NOT LAST! Buy the s15 7 layer and OEM collector.

On another note, I respect the do it yourself attitude, and understand we all have different budgets, but there are things on there you choose to do b/c you want it now rather than later. this could look a lot better with more effort... But to each his own, you seem to like it so that's all that matters.

From what Ive seen in this thread I'd say you're learning quite a bit just by building this car. I was a mechanic for 4 years as a living, I'd say you're well on your way to becoming a good one. Got to get in there and just do it, that's the only way to learn.

THIS connector i found in the bay has 2 thick gauge cables, ones black/white (for starter solenoid which goes to my button) and the other is white. im GUESSING the white 10 gauge wire is my alternator feed..? so ill be hooking that up with the same gauge wire to the battery? i dunno. im gonna run the car first, and remove the battery terminal. if it shuts off then ill know i was running on the battery which means my alt isnt working.

ive been hacking away at my screwed up stock harness for free wires. using the same color wires as the sr has. yes there is a jack in my door. it used to hold up my windows!

cleaned up some of the rats nest, still looks kinda bad but you wont notice once the dash is in, its actually very simplized. hooked up some of my gauges, most important, aem afr. w/e it looks good enough for me. some day off im gonna paint the floor too.

not a full cage, it was cheap. 50 bux, made out of chromoly. or however you spell it. plus its probally not gonna be legal to build off that.. the diameter seems kinda small? i dunno. just gonna get it welded in with a harness bar, and save for a cage. then cut that out when its time

brembo rotors, cheap duralast pads for now, s110 calipers in (i really missed having disk brakes!!) diff is in, fluid in. gotta make a new bracket for my e brake cable (more info on that later)

bolting the 4 point in now, sourcing pipe, getting it all welded and my harness in for the ods event

missing a caliper banjo bolt. ugh. and i need a hand to bleed the brakes.
