I have an S13 with an sr20 swap. I'm having some stupid issues for my start up...I'm thinking it has SOMETHING to do with the turbo timer issues I'm having.
I'm running an apexi turbo timer, it's hard wired in.
red to white/red
blue to blue
green to white/black
Originally when we were wiring up the stuff, I would turn the key and the turbo timer and safc would come on in the run position. I would turn the ignition to off and the timer wouldn't count down...everything would shut off with the exception of the safc and the turbo timer.
Fast forward to about 3-4 days ago. I blew my main 75a alternator fuse. For shits and giggles I decided to go see what else I didn't have power to. The turbo timer and safc would still turn on, but when I keyed the ignition off, the timer would count down and shut off along with the safc.
I have now replaced the fuse, and it was back to the same thing. Decided to check on it later before I started the car up. We were monkeying with the harness wiring, and found that we had missed the main ignition power (blue/red I believe). I spliced it in, and now I have power to the safc and the turbo timer whenever the battery is hooked up, even if the key isn't in the ignition. Not only that, but the fuel pump isn't priming. Not even with a brand new relay. If I jump the relay with a paperclip, it primes but not with a relay in.
Anyone have some words of advice for me other than I suck at wiring or something?
