Getting out that heat shield was #### near an impossiblity, it took a lot of bending and cursing, but it finally came out!!

I probably should have , it would have been quicker!!! i bent the #### out f it though!! Definately not fun! but necessary.

Yeah I took mine off about a month after I got my car.. Rattling like ####... Never had a problem since then either, and I've had it for around 3 years...

My heat shields came off for free at a muffler shop. It kicks ass being a girl!

HMMMMM....
Maybe the guys at the muffler shop by my house are gay, since they've put my car up at least 5 times to remove / re-weld various heat shields, loose parts, etc etc.... &nbsp; &nbsp; Never charged me a dime each time...

And I didn't even have to wear tight pants!!

If you keep them on then they will just crack and make your exhaust sound like donald duck.

Are you guys talking about the heat shield next to the exhaust? or a s14? cauz mine rattles like #### when i bump my music... its annoying and embarrsing.....

I think we're talking about the heat shields by the exhaust. Am I correct?

Just get the heat shields removed, or the next time you go into Nissan for maintance, tell them it's rattling, they should take it off for you.

Nissan Service will charge you like 20 bucks for nothing. Midas/CarX or something like that will do it for much less.

They took mine off for free.
