Octane booster just raises your detonation temperature. If you're not hella-aftermarket, it's just going to make you slower.

It tickles my nose hair & makes my eyes water. Maybe I shouldn't drink it.

That is really interesting but I don't have the chemistry knowledge to come up w/ my own hypothesis on the matter so I would need actual testimony from someone on the board who has used it.
Sounds really promising from what I read though!

That stuff is mostly for painters. But pick some up and add a little to your gas tank. Not for racing or anything. But to clean your lines. Watch out, your gonna have to clean your fuel filter after this stuff goes to work.

for the people that don't know what this stuff is
Toluene or toluol. /toll you een/ n. A colorless liquid aromatic hydrocarbonresembling benzene but less flammable. Used in high octane fuels and organic synthesis. FormulaC2H8. Benzene. /ben zeen/ n. colorless volatile toxic liquid with a distinctive odor used in the manufacturing of chemicals etc. Toluene is basically used as a paint thinner for certain paints. Years ago when I was really out law we ran 98% nitro-methane with 2% benzene as a catalyst. Nitro straight will not ignite and had to have help. Next lesson will be on hydro-propane a liquid that is so volatile that the friction of rubbing your hands together in the fumes will ignite it. As a reminder this stuff is all toxic and should be handled with extreme care, in a well ventilated area. I have heard that most of it will cause your grand kids to have two heads.
