I'm just curious, what's wrong with the one you want to take out?

I'm glad you mentioned this topic...
I've noticed that there seems to something floating in my gas tank....
when even i come to quick stop or a heavy bump, I have something clanking around in the back....
I've norrowed it down to the gas tank cause when I top it up, I don't hear a thing....
anybody have any ideas?

im taking it off because i need to change my fule pump and i cant get the fule lines off with the space i have to work with so i figure it will be easy with it off. and also theres like 10lbs of dirt on top of the tank i want to get it off and paint some of the undercarrage too

Well I can see how it would be useful to paint under the car but to change the fuel pump I don't recall it requiring to take off the fuel tank. Can anyone confirm or digress?

i know you dont need to take off the tank but. my fuel lines are not flexable enough to get them off in the space i have with the tank on. so im gonna see if its easier to get them off if the tank is off

Use angled needle-nosed pliers to move the clamps back on the hose & pull them off. You don't have to pull the tank to replace a pump.
