Just recently my turbo started making a high pitch noise when it spools. I've bought this turbo brand new and had it on the car for about a year and a half. I also noticed there's some oil on my hot pipe. Not that much though. Is this type of problem happening to anyone? Can anyone help me figure out this problem?

Do you have the line off the Valvecover T hooked up into your intake tract? I'd eliminate that first to see if oil is coming from there...

-high pitch noise
-oil in pipes
I know it's new but check for shaft play and the fins. If you have any, you could have somehow killed this turbo. If the fins are distorted, then it's been hitting the housing due to shaft play. This is a worst case scenario.
OR, maybe you just have a bad seal, and you have and air leak through a coupler.

I don't have the line from the valve cover T connected anymore. I replaced it with a breather filter.

I checked for shaft play and there's nothing. The fins are still in good condition. But i checked my piping and found one of my couplers ripped. I replaced it and cleaned out the stock side mount pipes. Cause as soon as I started it back up I was really trying to listen for where the source of this noise coming from and I could here it coming from my side mount. So I disassembled the side mount to clean it out. While i was cleaning out the side mount I noticed a lot of shredded rubber flakes in it. So after I cleaned it out and put everything back in I still here that noise and also my stock side mount BOV just got louder.

Sounds like your turbo is about to go... Did you get a garrett or some ebay special?

Last track event I was at, my car had a high pitched sound.
Turned out to be a loose turbo/fitting.
Fixed it, and the problem went away.

It's a brand new Garrett T28 from FRsport

What turbo fitting?

The sound coming from my engine makes it sound more like a supercharger instead of a turbo charger.

Well if the turbo should go it should be soon.
Sounds like a lack of oiling if its new.

is oil "pooling" in your piping? If it is, I hope you have a warranty.
